The future of the digital world encompasses everything the 32nd Annual Silver Needle Runway is about. This year’s theme, “Digital Utopia,” ties in the digital world and how it may affect us in the impending future. Creative director, Taylor Durand, along with the help of her team is working on bringing this vision to life. The technological advancements in today’s society are affecting human quality of life, and the idea that these advancements could lead us into a better, even Utopian society, is the message this theme conveys. In other words, a brighter, more digital future. Bright colors, lights, and projections will be used throughout the show in order to bring the theme to life. Current fashion is very colorful and positive which is part of the teams inspiration for the show’s “Utopian” theme.
